The apartment in the style of modern classics is located in a unique house - this is one of the seven “Stalinist” skyscrapers, built in the early fifties of the last century, and forming the high-rise look of Moscow. This high-rise is located near the Garden Ring, on Kudrinskaya Square. Designers wanted to create a calm and cozy interior, not contrary to the history of the building.
The new owners of the apartment liked the modern classical style, which they decided to use when decorating the premises. At the same time, the furnishings and lighting devices were selected both in the modern style and in the retro style.
Since the windows of the apartment look to the west side, there is not much sun in the apartment, and the main colors of the interior have chosen warm light shades - beige, golden, ivory. To make the rooms look more solemn and ceremonial, the doorways increased in width and height to 2.4 m.
For covering the floors, they used the Coswick ash board, a collection of "French Riviera": an ash tree in three layers, covered with oil. The layout forms a classic pattern: the French herringbone.
Entrance hall
The whole design of the apartment is 77 sq. M. m. turned out to be strict and at the same time ceremonial, and this impression is born immediately at the entrance. The chocolate colored floor tile has a stone texture that harmonizes in tone with the floorboard in the rooms. Wallpaper golden Harlequin, collection Arkona have a pattern made in art deco.
A huge mirror in a white baguette frame further expands the already rather large space of the hallway, next to it put a capacious chest of drawers of a laconic form with retractable drawers.
Living room
The living room room turned out spacious and very bright. It provides everything for a pleasant stay, in the corners of the conclusions of the audio system, there is a home theater.
The living room is decorated with two stylish tables, one of which - Briand (Du Bout Du Mond, France) is very unusual: its legs and underframes are made of mangrove, its surface is gilded and covered with a patina. On this basis there is a round table-top made of specially aged mirror glass. This table has become a real decoration of the living room.
The ceiling around the perimeter was lowered, and supplied with frameless lamps that can change the direction of the luminous flux. The ceiling in the sofa area also has a backlight, which can be adjusted using the iPhone. The doors from the living room lead to the dressing room and storage room.
Kitchen
The kitchen has a complex shape, which made it possible to build a separate niche for large-sized appliances - a refrigerator, an oven, and a wine cabinet with two temperature zones. In the same place were placed additional shelves for food storage. On the other wall is a large work surface on which the sink and hob are located. Under the surface - a dishwasher.
The floor is covered with porcelain stoneware from the Minsk collection, produced in Portugal by TopCer. This is the most suitable option for flooring in the apartment in the style of modern classics. The porcelain stoneware does not have a glazed coating, and is dyed throughout the thickness. It is very resistant to wear, does not absorb moisture, long retains the original color and structure of the material.
Study
The design of the apartment is 77 square meters. m. provides a small office for the owner. It is connected to the entrance area by an open doorway, and is separated from the living room and kitchen-dining room by sliding doors with French glazing.
The main decoration of the cabinet is a wall lined with S.Anselmo decorative brick, made in Italy. Rustic flat bricks are shaped by hand and are 250 by 55 mm in size. The brickwork creates an interesting background for suspensions in Bowet's retro-industrial style.
In addition to the working chair, they put in their office a designer leather egg chair Egg Chair, in which it is convenient to read a book or just relax.
The ceiling is decorated with a decorative cornice, two Centrsvet Round ceiling lamps of different diameters, made in a modern style, provide uniform soft lighting. On one of the walls is a poster of automotive themes in retro style. The decor elements selected by the designers give the office a truly masculine character.
Bedroom
The bedroom in the apartment in the style of modern classics is very bright, the pattern on the wallpaper repeats the pattern in the hallway, but has a different color - Harlequin - Arkona. The Italian bed of Darron is supplied with a high soft headboard.

The remaining walls are painted beige in harmony with a massive pedestal covered with walnut veneer, on which is a marbled tabletop with an integrated sink in it.
Part of the cabinet is occupied by a washing machine, and part is given for storage. The shower cabin has a Teuco Chapeau steam column.
