The interior of the loft-style apartment was designed by Ekaterina Skarednova and Andrey Kolchevsky. Apartment layout
In the new apartment there were no internal partitions, and therefore did not have to demolish anything. Inclined ceilings provided a greater height of the room in the entrance area, and the designers decided to use it: they built a "second floor" - there is a lounge area. The first floor consists of a kitchen-living-dining room, an entrance area, a bathroom and a separate bedroom room. Also here are all designed for storage systems.
Characteristic features of the loft in the interior of the apartment
The decoration used a classic loft palette - natural colors of wood, brick, steel, copper surfaces. Instead of natural brick used decorative, but natural color. Part of the walls is covered with paint: in the living room - a cool beige tone, in the bedroom - a calm green, slightly dusty shade.
Loft style is the main and only in the interior. The high sloping ceilings, the free layout, and the attic position of the dwelling possessed this, because the loft means “attic” in translation.
Kitchen-living room interior
The most striking element of the apartment in the loft style - decorative brick walls. In order not to overload the interior, the walls were partially painted. The living room and kitchen are distinguished by massive ceiling beams, very stylish and textured. The remaining ceilings - stretch.
When selecting furniture they were oriented towards natural materials, preference was given to furniture in the loft style and in the industrial style. Elements of metal, unpainted wood, thick leather upholstery - this is what makes the furniture brutal and suitable for such apartments.
A large Kensington sofa, covered in dark leather with brown tones, is in perfect harmony with a rough wooden coffee table and a TV stand - the shelves of the boards are fixed on a black-painted steel frame. In addition to them, a dresser was placed in the living area - it resembles old suitcases folded in two piles.
Dark wooden kitchen cabinets almost merge with a brick wall, making the suite unobtrusive. The equipment does not attract attention - it is removed behind the facades, only the refrigerator stands alone. Instead of the standard kitchen "column" - an open rack of metal and wood, repeating the style of TV cabinets.
The dining room is also wooden, made of solid wood and has a dark color. The table has a round shape, and the backs and seats of the chairs are covered with black leather and decorated with decorative studs and rivets.
In the interior design of the apartment in the loft style there are no unnecessary decorative elements, everything here is subject to one task - to emphasize the style. To this end, a metal skull was installed on the dresser instead of the usual frames with photographs. In addition, the landlord will use biker accessories to decorate their homes.
There are no curtains or curtains in the living room, as, indeed, in other rooms, it would be out of the general strict style of the loft. But not without textiles, he adds comfort, which is especially important for a bachelor apartment. In the living room it is a soft carpet on the floor near the sofa with a very "home" pattern.
Lighting provides spots built into the ceiling. In addition, two hangers descend from the ceiling above the working surface of the kitchen table-island, which acts as a bar counter and separates the space of the kitchen and the living room. Bedroom interior
For the bed in the bedroom built a podium - there are bookshelves in it. A small console of metal and wood is designed in the general style and replaces the bedside cabinet.
The bedroom is illuminated with loft-style lamps on the tires, in addition, intimate evening lighting is provided - for this purpose, the wall lamps were reinforced and the lamp in the form of a spotlight was placed on the table.
Bathroom interior
The large-format, dark-gray woodgrain tiles in the bathroom cover both the floor and the walls. That the room did not look dark and small, much attention was paid to lighting. Spotlights were built into the ceiling, and a mirror was surrounded around the perimeter with a luminous frame.
Entrance area and second floor
The most striking decorative element of the apartment in the loft style is located between the entrance area and the living room - this is a staircase leading to the second floor. The metal spiral twists around the central pillar and rises to a secluded recreation area, which includes another TV zone.
The entrance area is equipped with storage systems. A special pantry hides household appliances for cleaning and caring for linen, as well as sports equipment. And the clothes fit in a large closet.
