To make a successful bathroom design in a panel house means to be able to fit into an extremely small space everything that is necessary for a comfortable family life. As a rule, in the prefabricated houses, the rooms for the toilet and the bath are not combined, but even if the partition between them is demolished during the renovation process, the total area will still be quite modest.
Required bathroom items

Quite an extensive list, the implementation of such a task may seem difficult if the agenda is not only to contain all of the above, but also to complete the design of the bathroom as beautifully as possible. Although this is possible, if you approach the matter carefully and creatively at the same time.
Save space
Step one - demolish the partition.
To successfully accommodate the necessary elements, while maintaining aesthetics, it is better to demolish the partition between the toilet / bathroom. Traditionally, in a panel house they go brick half thick bricks, and there is no such wall carrying such a wall. From this conclusion - the majority of cases do not imply that the technical inventory of this project should be approved by the Bureau.
We remove the partition, so you get a room, albeit small, but suitable for the arrangement. And with the use of a creative approach, a certain percentage of ingenuity, it is really possible to build a real five-star bath from this non-residential square.
Step two - close the window to the kitchen wisely
The design of the renovated restroom does not imply a window to the kitchen, previously used for ventilation and additional lighting. It had looked very ridiculous before, but now it’s not a place at all. But this opening, if properly closed from the kitchen, can serve as an excellent small niche for all kinds of tubes, jars and other necessary cosmetic moments. A washing machine is the place to be just under the niche.
Put the basic plumbing in the corners
Step one - throw away the old bathroom. If you do not want to completely abandon the bathroom, it is better to equip the corner version with a deep sink, which will simultaneously serve as a shower and a small bathroom.
Step two - change the toilet. The second corner, from the same wall with which the shower cubicle is installed, is to be equipped with a toilet. Most likely, this is the opposite wall to the entrance. If the basic plumbing is placed like this, then it will be a bit troublesome with sewage.
As for the toilet model, there are now corner models that take up little space. And there is - with the tank-sink, where the water after washing hands goes into the tank. This is an economical option, but you will often have to clean the drain tank of the type indicated.
Above the toilet - shelves in the form of a niche. Such shelves can be made by yourself, and can be ordered from the master.
Attention, this is traditionally a wet room in which mold, harmful mushrooms like to grow and develop. Organize ventilation.
Heated towel rail
The third corner, opposite to the oblique line of the toilet, can be equipped either for a dressing table or for a huge heated towel rail on the entire wall. But here it depends on the needs of the family.
Under the coil set the sink. Some refuse it, but in vain. Over time, the lack of this element is felt very strongly.
Under the coil on top of the sink you can make a solid mirror surface - it looks interesting. Coils are of two types:
- water coil;
- electric coils.
Water mains work constantly when hot water is turned on, but the electric one will start working when connected to the network and the corresponding command is given to it. Therefore, this option is more economical. As for aesthetics, water coils can be non-standard, and if they are ordered for an individual drawing, they add exoticism - the design will become unusual.
There is another type - a combined serpentine, which can operate on electricity and hot water.
Ceramic tile
The interior design of the bathroom in the panel house is not only a selection of high-quality sanitary ware and its wise location, but also the choice of a good tile. Good is not necessarily expensive, but rather suitable. Bathroom design is a creative work. The tile serves for the master as well as the paints for the artist - the right choice of texture and color palette will be the key to the most interesting result.
Now the market offers a lot of European and domestic. European is of three types: red, blue and green markings. The degree of anti-skid corresponds to the number. Red is considered the best, and green - the third grade. This does not say, they say, the tile is bad, it just has more chances to slip.
But glazed double firing for the floor is not suitable - this is a wall option. To save money, you can skip places behind the shower stall, but by covering them with waterproofing, because a bare concrete screed is a wonderful soil for the growth of a fungus.

Increase the space visually
The bathroom in the panel house is quite small, even if all the elements fit correctly, it will not look loose. But there is a way out! Mirrors plus LEDs. Any niche will look more interesting if it comes out to equip it with LED lighting. It saves electricity (such light bulbs take a minuscule of energy) at the same time as creating the illusion of space. And if the back wall of the niches to make a mirror, you get the effect of a bright tunnel.
In general, white color is a priority for small rooms. But not in pure form. If the walls are purely light, and the floor with a couple of tones is darker and interspersed with another, darker shade - this is an ideal interior option.

- We demolish the wall between the toilet / bathroom.

- We demolish all old pipes, we bring new.
- We are reworking the wiring, including the installation of spotlights.
- We process every millimeter with antifungal medication.
- We distribute the basic plumbing - shower, toilet, sink.
- We lay out the tile, pre-processing the walls again antifungal agent.
- Let the tile dry.
- We install basic plumbing.
