Furniture from boxes, boxes

Matchbox furniture set is the least time-consuming way to create an internal design of a dollhouse.
To make a mini dresser or dressing table, you will need:

  • six to ten matchboxes;
  • PVA glue or any other;

  • thick cardboard;
  • scissors.

How it's done:

  • a piece of plywood;
  • jigsaw;
  • PVA glue;
  • acrylic paint;
  • pencil;
  • ruler;
  • compass;
  • paper.

What do we have to do:

  • the drawing of the details of the table is depicted on paper, after it is transferred onto a plywood sheet;
  • Two circles are cut out of plywood - one more, the other a little less;
  • then two arcuate details are made, on one of which a slit is made on the top center, on the second - on the bottom;
  • at last, two rectangular parts are cut, the length is almost equal to the diameter of the smaller circle, and slots are also made in them in the center;
  • the construction is smeared with glue, assembled, painted with paint, dried.

From similar smaller parts make stools.

From wood

A wonderful folding sofa will come out of natural wood and textiles, for the manufacture of which you will need:

  • board about one centimeter thick;
  • hacksaw or jigsaw;
  • flat furniture hinges;
  • glue;
  • furniture fabric;

  • the bottom is glued with the ends to the armrests;
  • parts of the base are fastened to each other with loops, attached to the armrests on the screws;
  • all parts are pasted over with a cloth, and foam rubber is glued to two main ones;
  • on the resulting folding design knit plaid with fringe, sewn small pads.

At the bottom of the sofa is sometimes made a drawer out of plywood, for storing bed linen.

Cardboard by patterns, schemes

To make cardboard boxes, corrugated cardboard, a cabinet in miniature, they first create a sketch, decide what details the future product will consist of. Schemes of some products can be downloaded from the Internet, printed on a printer, and then transferred to a thick cardboard.
To make a modern locker that fits the entire doll wardrobe, you need:

  • cardboard box;
  • corrugated cardboard;
  • self-adhesive film;
  • scissors or office knife;
  • ruler;
  • pencil;
  • metal rod;
  • thin wire;
  • foil;
  • glue;
  • ornaments in the form of beads.

According to the pre-made patterns, details are cut out - the sides, the top and bottom of the cabinet, the back wall, the doors. The construction is assembled, pasted over with a film, a metal rod is inserted between the sides, onto which hangers made of wire cling. Foil is stuck on one of the doors - it will be a mirror. Door handles are made of two large beads, the front part of the product is decorated with smaller ones.

If desired, you can make a cabinet with sliding doors - the "rail" for them is also made of cardboard.

From paper

From the thin paper tubes, furniture imitating wicker of rattan or wicker will come out for an ecological style house.
From materials, tools needed:

  • thick cardboard;
  • thin paper;
  • thick needle or awl;
  • paper knife;
  • wooden sticks;
  • PVA glue;
  • acrylic paint;
  • tassel.

Two parts of the future table top are cut out of cardboard - holes for legs are made in the corners of one with an awl, and holes for paper racks are made around the perimeter. Wooden legs are fastened to the corners of the structure with glue, paper racks are threaded through the remaining holes. The top of the second element of the table top is glued with colored squares, imitating an oilcloth, and then glued to the first part. Weaving is made by paper tubes, by threading them from top to bottom, alternating in each row. The last row is braided with pigtails, the finished product is painted in a light brown color scheme. About the same chairs are made.

Paper tubes are made of strips of paper that are tightly wound diagonally on a thin needle and fixed with glue.

From fabric

Textile chair bag is made of soft fabric and any stuffing - foam rubber, padding polyester, cotton wool. Textile material is surrounded by one piece of the seat and the bottom, two symmetrical side. The product is sewn, turned out, tightly stuffed.
For the production of a round ottoman, two round parts are cut out of the fabric, one is rectangular, slightly longer in length than the circumference of the bottom and top. The rectangular part climbs, connects with round, packed with pieces of padding polyester. The resulting product is decorated with lace, beads.

How to make furniture from metal cans of drinks

Such furniture is suitable for a luxurious atmosphere in the Empire or Baroque style. To make the chair-throne, a luxurious doll high chair, the top is cut off from the jar, the sides are cut into strips of three to four millimeters wide, the design is turned over. Part of the strips remains at the bottom - the chair legs are twisted out of them, the rest become lace armrests, and the backrest. To make a product with a soft seat, a round pad is made with soft padding, glued to the seat cushion.

Knitted furniture

A cot with a canopy, a valance, lacy bed linen, resembles an object for an old "palace" bedroom. For the manufacture of such an object is made frame - a rectangular base on the legs, turning into a rack, which is attached lacy canopy. The base is made knitted mattress, filled with foam rubber, the same pads. Lace bed linen, valance, are made separately. Racks are also tied with a hook in a spiral, their tops are decorated with lush bows.
The decoration of the room is complemented by a cradle, the frame for which is made of wire or "myzle" - a design that fixes the cork in a bottle of champagne. The cradle is tied with laces, decorated with bows, the color of which depends on the floor of the baby-doll for which it is intended. Here you will have to “put into the theme” a round knitted rug, a fireplace with knitted flames.
